LinkedIn Applicants Counter ("the Extension") collects minimal information necessary to provide our service:

• Account Information: Email address and display name (via Google Sign-In)
• Usage Data: Trial start date, trial end date, payment status
• LinkedIn Data: Job posting IDs to fetch applicant counts (accessed only, not stored)
• Payment Information: Processed by Stripe (we never see your credit card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Authenticate your account via Google
• Manage your free trial period and subscription status
• Process one-time payments securely via Stripe
• Provide customer support when requested
• Send transactional emails (payment confirmations only)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) with industry-standard encryption. We implement:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication via Google OAuth
• Regular security updates and monitoring

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Limited data is shared with:

• Stripe: For secure payment processing (PCI-compliant)
• Google Firebase: For authentication and secure data storage

5. LinkedIn Data Access

The Extension accesses LinkedIn's public job posting data to display applicant counts. This data:

• Is only accessed when you actively view a LinkedIn job posting
• Is NOT stored on our servers
• Is NOT shared with any third parties
• Remains subject to LinkedIn's Terms of Service

6. Cookies & Local Storage

The Extension uses Chrome's local storage to:

• Remember your authentication status
• Store your trial/payment status locally

No tracking cookies or analytics are used.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
• Correct: Update your account information
• Export: Receive your data in a portable format
• Opt-out: Uninstall the Extension at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your data:

• While your account is active
• For 30 days after account deletion (for recovery purposes)
• Payment records kept for 7 years (legal/tax requirements)

9. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
